A quiet practice, carried through generations

OMAR is a private practice for traditional spiritual consultation and cultural guidance based in Kampala, Uganda. The knowledge behind it was received within the family and has been practised for more than twenty years, in the same unhurried way it was taught: listen first, speak carefully, and never rush a person who is carrying something heavy.

Consultations draw on Ugandan cultural tradition — clan history, rites of passage, ancestral remembrance and the customs that hold families together. Clients come from many faiths and backgrounds, and each person is met with the same respect, whatever they believe.

Our approach

Every session begins with a conversation. We take time to understand your situation, explain what traditional guidance can and cannot offer, and agree together on what feels right. Nothing is done without your consent, and nothing is repeated outside the room.

We speak plainly about limits. Traditional guidance is a source of reflection and cultural support. It is not a substitute for medical, financial or legal advice, and we never guarantee outcomes of any kind.
